Arrange dimensions

Learn how to use the Arrange Dimensions tool to stack or align linear or angular dimensions in the Drawing workspace in Fusion.

Stack dimensions

Adjust the spacing between linear or angular dimensions.

  1. On the toolbar, select Dimensions > Arrange Dimensions arrange dimensions icon

    The Arrange Dimensions dialog displays. The Stack stack dimensions icon option is selected by default.

  2. Select the base dimension that all other dimensions will be stacked above/below.

  3. Select all other dimensions you want to stack.

  4. Accept the default spacing (distance) or specify a custom spacing between stacked dimensions.

  5. Click OK.

Note: You can also enable the Stack Dimensions tool from the marking menu of a selected dimension.

Align dimensions

Align linear or angular dimensions within a view and/or across multiple views.

  1. On the toolbar, select Dimensions > Arrange Dimensions arrange dimensions icon

    The Arrange Dimensions dialog displays. The Stack stack dimensions icon option is selected by default.

  2. Select the Align align dimensions icon option for the Type.

  3. Select the base dimension that all other dimensions will be aligned with.

  4. Select all other dimensions you want to align.

  5. Click OK.

Note: You can also enable the Align Dimensions tool from the marking menu of a selected dimension.
