In the Drawing workspace in Fusion, you can use the Base View command to create a base view of a design.
A base view is the first drawing view that you place on a sheet. A base view is a direct projection of the 3D design, viewed from a specific direction.
When you create a new drawing, Fusion prompts you to place a base view. After you place a base view on a sheet, you can generate additional projected, section, and detail views from it.
You can create additional base views with different view properties. When you create a new base view, you can either create a new reference or add it to an existing reference in the drawing.
If you create a new reference, a new node appears in the browser.
If you add the new base view to an existing reference, it is associated with the existing reference node in the browser.
