Breakout Section View reference

In the Breakout Section View dialog, you can edit the properties of a breakout section view in the Drawing workspace in Fusion.

Access the Breakout Section View dialog

Create > Breakout Section View .

Select the drawing view on which you want to create the breakout section.

Select the sketch shape of the breakout cut.

Select a depth option for the breakout section.

Establishes the end point of the breakout section.

Distance: Creates the breakout section to half of your design's depth by default or to a distance that you specify.

The distance is set to half of your design's depth by default, but you can type in any depth value.

Click to go back to the default depth distance.

For modified design geometry, click to move the start point to the front of the design for depth calculation.

Uncheck components to exclude them from being cut through in a section view. Fasteners from the fasteners libraries are unchecked by default.

Note: When a component is unchecked, it still displays as an uncut component in the section view.
