Edit a drawing view

Learn how to edit the properties of a drawing view on a sheet in the Drawing workspace in Fusion.

1. Double-click the drawing view.

   The Drawing View dialog displays.

2. Adjust the Appearance settings:

   • Style: Select a display style.
     • From Parent
     • Visible Edges
     • Visible and Hidden Edges
     • Shaded
     • Shaded with Hidden Edges
   • Scale: Select a scale.
   • Name: Enter an identifier, if needed. (Section view and detail view only.)

3. Adjust the Edge Visibility settings:

   • Tangent Edges: Select a display style for tangent edges.
     • Full Length
     • Shortened
     • Off
   • Interference Edges: Check to display interference edges.
   • Thread Edges: Check to display threaded edges.

4. In the Objects to Cut section, uncheck any components you don't want to display in the section view. (Section view only.)

5. Select OK.

The detail view updates on the current sheet.
