Create baseline dimensions
Learn how to use the Baseline Dimension tool in the Drawing workspace in Fusion to create multiple linear dimensions that measure distance from the same base point on a sheet.
Note: You must first create a linear or aligned dimension to use as a baseline.
- On the toolbar, select Dimensions > Baseline Dimension
. - On the sheet, select the extension line of an existing linear or aligned dimension as the baseline.
- Select a point to define the next dimension.
- Optional: Select additional points to create additional dimensions measured from the baseline.
- Press
Enter.
The dimensions display on the sheet, all measured from the baseline. The dimensions are associated with the geometry that they measure in the drawing view.
