Create a package from an existing design

Create a package by attaching an existing design to a footprint. Before you begin, open an existing library or create a new library.

1. In the Content Manager, right-click a footprint and select Attach Existing 3D Model.

2. Navigate to the design you want to use and click Select.

3. In the Save dialog, name the new package, choose its storage location, and click OK.

   Fusion creates the package from the selected design and the footprint outline.

4. (Optional) Edit the package to modify the alignment over the footprint.
