Library editor

When you create a new library or open an existing library, you will see the library authoring workspace. Here you can begin to create new assets such as Components, Symbols, Footprints, and 3D Packages. You can also import components into your current library from other libraries or local .lbr files.

Content Manager

Use the Content Manager panel on the left side of the library authoring workspace to create, view, and edit assets. Select any asset to see its details in the bottom section of the Content Manager panel. Double-click on an asset to show the corresponding editor in the center of the workspace and make edits.
