Route multiple signals

This option works best for a group of signals that can follow a parallel or almost parallel route from beginning to end.

  1. On the PCB Design toolbar, click Route Multiple Route Multiple icon.

  2. In the Route Multiple dialog, review and modify the selected options:

    • Trace Bend controls the angle or shape of each new segment of a trace. Hold down the Ctrl key and right-click to cycle through the options.

    • Controls on the bottom half of the dialog specify physical properties of traces and vias. Trace width can also be changed by typing a number in the command line field. Note the Via Pattern options to control how multiple vias are arranged on the board.

  3. Click and drag a line across the set of pads or components at one end of the signals, then click to complete the selection. The objects are highlighted.

  4. Move the cursor a short distance, then right-click to start routing all the signals.

  5. Click to place corners or bends manually.

  6. If at any point you want to use QuickRoute Multiple to complete the routes, press Enter. Check the traces to see if any did not complete and need to be finished manually.
