  1. Simplify the model by removing chamfers and fillets.
    1. Select a face, and click Delete on your keyboard.
    2. Repeat for all remaining unnecessary geometry.
  2. In the Edit Model contextual environment, on the Edit Model Solid tab, click Create > Connector Obstacle connector obstacle icon.
  3. Click on a circular edge to define the start of the obstacle geometry shaft.
  4. Rotate the model, if necessary, then click on a face, or a circular edge, to define the end of the obstacle geometry shaft.
  5. Check the Shaft Diameter and Shaft Length in the Connector Obstacle dialog, confirm the values, and edit them if necessary.
  6. To make allowances for a bolt head, select the Bolt Head option.
  7. Use the manipulator to change the Head Diameter and Head Length, or enter values directly in the dialog.
  8. Use Flip Side and Both Sides, as appropriate.
  9. Click OK to finish.
