Inspect tools (Edit Model)

When you want to check your model geometry without leaving the Generative Design workspace, use the Inspect tools in the Edit Model contextual environment.

Inspect tools

Tool	Purpose
Measure	Check key measurements for design purposes, or to compare with the real world counterpart.
Section Analysis	Cut into model components to see the interior spaces. Use this tool to check if components are interfering, or to measure the distance between them.
Interference	Detect the presence of overlapping material between two or more bodies or components, and to remove it if you want to.
Display Component Colors	Displays each component in an assembly as a different color to make them easier to differentiate. Hides physical materials and appearances.
Transparent Surfaces Toggle	Make surfaces translucent, so you can see adjacent solids more clearly.
