Insert manufacturer parts

Learn how to insert parts from over 400 certified manufacturers' catalogs into your Fusion design.

On the toolbar, click Insert > Insert a manufacturer part .
Click OK when the Note appears.

A web browser opens and displays the manufacturer catalogs available.
Log in or register for an account.
In the web browser, choose a manufacturer from the list.
Browse through the catalog and choose the desired part.
In the left panel of the web browser, specify the properties for the selected part.
Click To Autodesk Fusion 360 to insert the part into your design.

The part is inserted as a component and appears in the canvas.

Note: You only need to log in or register for an account the first time you insert a part.

Tip

Right-click the component in the Browser and select Properties to edit the part name, part number, and description.
