Appearance reference

Appearance affects the color of bodies, components, and faces. Appearances override the color assigned from the physical material.

Design > Modify > Appearance

Adjust the appearance of the existing materials used in your design. Appearances override the color assigned from the physical material. Appearance do not affect the engineering properties.

• Apply To: Select if you want to change appearance of bodies/components, or faces only.
• In This Design: Lists materials used in a current design. Hover over the image to get the material name and description.
• Library: Use the drop-down to select a library to be used to modify the appearance of the desired material.
• Show downloadable materials Check the box to show materials available for download. Click Download Material if you want to download desired material.
• Cancel all Download Available when Show downloadable materials is enabled. Click this to stop any active downloads.
