Create a plane through three points

Learn how to use the Plane Through Three Points tool to create a construction plane that passes through three vertices or snap points, or any mix of the two, in Fusion.

  1. On the toolbar, select Construct > Plane Through Three Points plane through three points icon.

    The Construction Geometry dialog displays, Type is set to Plane and Method is set to Through Three Points.

  2. Select an Extent Type option to establish the end point of the plane.

  3. In the canvas, select the first vertex or snap point.

  4. Select the second vertex or snap point.

  5. Select the third vertex or snap point.

  6. Click OK.

The new construction plane displays in the canvas, passing through the three vertices or snap points you selected.
