Add a decal

Use Decal to apply a sticker-like image to a face.

The Decal tool, unlike the Attached Canvas tool, can place an image on a curved face. Use Decal to add stickers or labels to your design.

1. In the Design workspace, select Insert > Decal .

   The Insert dialog displays.

2. In the Insert dialog, navigate to and select an image, then click Insert.

   The Decal dialog displays.

3. In the canvas, select a face to place the decal on.

4. Use the manipulators or enter values in the Decal dialog to specify the decal's Opacity, position, and scale, and to flip it horizontally or vertically.

5. Optionally, check Chain Faces to wrap the image across multiple faces.

6. Click OK.

The decal is applied to the selected faces and a Decal folder displays in the Browser with the image.

Tip

• For a successful import, ensure the file extension matches the true file format. Supported file types include PNG, JPG, JPEG, TIF, and TIFF.
