Learn how to use selection priority filters to limit selection to components, bodies, faces, or edges in Fusion.
On the toolbar, click Select > Selection Priority > Select Component Priority .
A checkmark displays on the Select Component Priority icon.
The Components selection filter is checked, and all others are unchecked.
In the canvas, click and drag to define a selection boundary around the objects you want to select.
The components are selected in the canvas and the Browser. All other object types are excluded from the selection.
On the toolbar, click Select > Selection Priority > Select Body Priority .

The Bodies selection filter is checked, and all others are unchecked.

The solid and surface bodies are selected in the canvas and the Browser. All other object types are excluded from the selection.
On the toolbar, click Select > Selection Priority > Select Face Priority .
A checkmark displays on the Select Face Priority icon.
The Body Faces selection filter is checked, and all others are unchecked.
In the canvas, click and drag to define a selection boundary around the objects you want to select.
The faces on solid and surface bodies are selected in the canvas and the Browser. All other object types are excluded from the selection.
On the toolbar, click Select > Selection Priority > Select Edge Priority .
A checkmark displays on the Select Edge Priority icon.
The Body Edges selection filter is checked, and all others are unchecked.
In the canvas, click and drag to define a selection boundary around the objects you want to select.
The edges on solid and surface bodies are selected in the canvas and the Browser. All other object types are excluded from the selection.
The selection filters that were unchecked to apply the selection priority filter are restored.
