Split a solid body
Learn how to use the Split Body command to divide a solid body into two solid bodies.
Click Design > Solid > Modify > Split Body
.The Split Body dialog displays.
Select the Body to Split.
Select the Splitting Tool(s).
The Splitting Tools display in the canvas.
Click OK.
The solid body splits into two solid bodies that display in the canvas, in the browser, and in the Timeline.
Note: You can uncheck Extend Splitting Tool(s) if the Splitting Tools already intersect with the Body to Split.
