Revolve reference (Form)

Learn to use the Revolve tool in Fusion to create a T-Spline body by revolving sketch or model geometry around an axis.

Profile

Enables the selection of sketch profiles.

Profile Chain Selection

Specifies whether to include tangentially connected edges or select individual edges for open profiles.

Axis

Select a linear or circular object to define the axis to revolve the profile around.

Weld

Check to weld all coincident vertices. In this example, the four vertices at the top are welded into a single vertex.

Spacing

Specifies how the faces are positioned on the revolution.

Faces

Specifies the number of faces along the side of the revolution.

Type

Select an extent Type to determine the end point of the revolve.

Angle

Available when Type is set to partial icon Angle. Specifies the angle of revolution around the axis.

Direction

Available when Type is set to Angle partial icon.

Faces

Specifies the number of faces around the revolution.

Symmetry

Symmetric Faces

Available when Symmetry is set to Circular circular icon. Specifies the number of symmetric faces around the axis of the revolve.
