Join vertices on a T-Spline body
Learn how to use the Weld Vertices command to join points within a single T-Spline body or between two T-Spline bodies in Fusion.
- In the Design workspace, Form contextual environment, select Modify > Weld Vertices .
- Click a vertex on the T-Spline body. In the Weld Vertices dialog, select from the following:
- Vertex To Vertex. Joins the first vertex to the second.
- Vertex To Midpoint. Joins the two vertices at the midpoint.
- Weld To Tolerance. Joins all selected vertices within the specified tolerance. Pick multiple vertices, or window-select them. Vertices will meet at the average of the distance between them.
- When finished, click OK.
A T-Spline body with joined vertices displays in the canvas.
Note: To separate a single body into two bodies, select Modify > UnWeld Edges, select the edges you want to unweld, and click OK.
Tips
- Use Weld Vertices to combine two bodies or faces or to eliminate gaps between faces of a single body.
- Merge Edge and Weld Vertices perform similar operations. The difference is the objects you can select (edges or vertices).
