Crease edges of T-Spline body
Learn how to use the Crease command to add sharp edges to a T-Spline body in Fusion.
Create a sharp crease
- In the Design workspace, Form contextual environment, select Modify > Crease .
- Select a T-Spline edge.
- Click OK.
If the creased edge is on a flat area of the model, you may need to move it with Edit Form before seeing the creased effect.
Create a smooth crease
- Do one of the following:
- Move adjacent edges closer together to create a sharper transition between them.
- Add a sharp crease with the Crease command. Then convert the T-Spline body to a solid or surface model, and use the Fillet tool to add a small radius to the crease.
Tips
- Yellow highlight areas indicate regions where Crease fade off will be short.
- Vertices can only be creased at outside corners.
- Vertices can only be uncreased at outside corners.
