T-Spline Entity
Enables the selection of T-Spline faces, edges, and vertices.
Controls the display of manipulators.
- Multi All controllers are available.
- Translation Only translation manipulators are available.
- Rotation Only rotation manipulators are available.
- Scale Only scale manipulators are available.
Coordinate Space
Controls the orientation of the manipulator.
- World Space Orients the manipulator with the model origin.
- View Space Orients the manipulator relative the to current view of the model.
- Selection Space Transforms selected objects as a group in the direction of the axis of the manipulator.
- Local Per Entity Transforms each of the selected objects locally relative to the direction of the axis of the manipulator.
Selection Filter
Specifies the type of geometry that is available for selection.
- Vertex Only vertices are available for selection. Vertices are displayed on the model.
- Edge Only edges are available for selection.
- Face Only faces are available for selection.
- All Vertices, edges, and faces are available for selection.
- Body Only T-Spline bodies are available for selection.
Object Snap
Moves the new vertices to the closest point on objects in the scene. Vertices can snap to solid, surface, and mesh bodies.
- Snap Direction Sets the snap to project from the current view space or the default world space.
- View Space Places the vertices a specified distance off the target body when Object Snap is enabled.
Soft Modification
- Extent Distance, Face Count, Rectangular Face Count.
- Distance
- Face Count
- Length Face Count
- Width Face Count
- Transition Smooth, Linear, Bulge.
- Weight
Selection Options
- Grow/Shrink Expands and contracts the current selection.
- Loop Grow/Shrink Selects a loop based on the current selection. Expand and contract the current selection.
- Ring Grow/Shrink Selects edges on adjacent faces of the selected edge. Expand and contract the ring.
- Select Next Moves the selected vertex, edge, or face to the next adjacent object. You can also use the
Ctrl+Command+arrow keys
(MacOS) or Alt+arrow keys
(Windows). The movement is based on the current camera position.
- Feature Selection Selects all faces of a strut or hole.
- Invert Selection Selects all unselected objects and deselects selected objects.
- Range Selection Selects all faces between two selected faces.
- Display Mode Select Box, Control Frame, or Smooth display mode.
Provides fields to enter numeric values to move the manipulator. You can also drag the manipulator in the application.
