Change safety factor thresholds

You can customize the safety factor thresholds (targets) to match your industry requirements or specific application needs. You can change thresholds during setup or after viewing results.

Change thresholds during setup

1. In the Simulation workspace, on the Setup tab, in the Thresholds panel, click Safety Factor Thresholds.

2. In the Safety Factor Thresholds dialog, specify the Upper Target and Lower Target values.

3. Click OK.

The legend and result color zones update to reflect your custom thresholds.

Change thresholds in results view

1. On the Results tab, click the Safety Factor result in the Browser.

2. In the legend, drag the threshold sliders to adjust the values:

   • Lower threshold slider (default 2.00)
   • Upper threshold slider (default 4.00)

The color zones on the model update as you move the sliders.
