Change study settings

Access the study settings from the New Study dialog, or from the Setup tab of the Simulation workspace toolbar.

To open the settings dialog as you create a new study

1. From within the Simulation workspace, click (Setup tab > Study panel > New Study).
2. In the New Study dialog, select the study type you want.
3. In the top right corner of the study type description, click the Settings icon to open the Settings dialog.

To open the settings dialog from within a study

1. With a Simulation study open, click (Setup tab > Manage panel > Settings) to open the settings dialog.

To edit study settings

1. With the settings dialog open, in the left column, select the appropriate tab. The options available in each tab change depending on the study type.

   Tab	Available in
   General	All studies
   Mesh	All studies except electronics cooling and injection molding simulation
   Adaptive mesh refinement	- Modal frequencies - Static stress - Thermal - Thermal stress
   Damping	Dyanamic event simulation
   Results output	Event simulation

2. When you have completed your edits, click Back or OK to accept the changes and close the dialog.
