Compare results in Simulation studies

The Compare tools are activated when a study has been solved and results are available, and are used to compare simulation results from different studies within the active project.

To compare results

1. Create multiple studies with different setup parameters, and run the analyses.

2. On the Result toolbar, click Compare panel > Compare to activate the Compare tools.

   You can open up to four (4) studies to compare different results.

3. Use the drop-down menu at the top or bottom of the active window, depending on the study type, to select a different study or result.

   Tip: For FEA studies, use the results selector, by the legend, to select a different result.

4. Click Finish to close Compare and return to the Results tab.

To compare results with different geometries

1. Run simulations on initial geometry.

2. Clone the study to create new studies for the new geometries.

3. For each new study, click Simplify to enter the Simplify environment to modify the geometry.

   Note: For each study, when you return to the Setup tab, all of the studies have warnings that the results are not up to date.

4. Run the set of cloned studies.
