Material properties

There are three ways to view material properties, depending on what properties or materials you are interested in:

• Manage Properties
• Study Materials
• Manage Physical Materials

View the properties for the all the materials in the Fusion Material libraries using the Material Properties command, and select specific materials from the drop-down menu. The properties displayed are the ones that are relevant to the simulation, such as Young's Modulus, Yield Strength, and Thermal Conductivity. Appearance properties (Color, Reflectance, and so on) are not displayed in the Material Properties dialog.

The Study Materials dialog is a simple way to see the material properties specifically for the materials selected in your study, without searching through all the materials.

Use the Material Browser to view more material properties for any material in the databases, including:

• Identity
• Appearance
• Physical properties
