Results details dialog
For a static stress study only, the Results Details dialog opens when you click the icon next to the Load Case selector in the legend.
The lowest resultant Safety Factor is displayed at the top of the dialog along with a recommendation of next steps.
Safety Factor Targets
If you know the guidelines that should be used for your application, specify a custom range. Warning: Reducing the Upper Target can make the results interpretation message give a false positive indication, when your design may not actually be adequate.
Note: If the targets are modified, the intermediate warning state is disabled. The Result details dialog will then only show the following states:
- - the resultant minimum safety factor is below the Lower Target.
- - the resultant minimum safety factor is in-between the specified targets.
- - the resultant minimum safety factor exceeds the Upper Target.
Recommendations
Recommendations are displayed by default and can be hidden by using the arrow next to Recommendations.
- There is a button to show the weakest areas of the design. Clicking that icon invokes an iso view that shows everything below the lower target. Click the same icon again to exit the iso view and return to the previous result view.
- You can also change the deformation scale from this dialog using the Deformation Scale drop-down menu.
