Copy a simulation study to a different configuration

To copy a study from a Simulation Model in one configuration to a Simulation Model in a different configuration, use the Copy Study command. This command copies the study and all its settings, including the study type, to the target Simulation model.

Note: Use Clone Study to duplicate studies to the same Simulation Model.

Prerequisites: One of your configurations is open, with at least one study set up on at least one Simulation Model.

1. In the Simulation workspace, on the Setup tab, click (Study panel > Copy Study) to open the Copy Study dialog.

2. In the Copy Study dialog, using the Copy study from drop-down menu, select the configuration and simulation model combination that you want to copy the study from.

   Note: Make sure to check that you have selected the Simulation Model from the correct configuration.

3. Select the studies that you want to copy, either by selecting All Studies or by selecting individual studies from the list.

4. Next, in the Copy study to field, select the target configuration and Simulation Model combination.

5. When you have completed your selections, click OK to confirm the selections and close the dialog.
