Isoparametric curve

Learn how to use the Isoparametric Curve tool to extract UV curves from a surface and include them as sketch geometry in Fusion.

Design > Sketch > Create > Project/Include > Isoparametric Curve

1. In the Design workspace, on the Sketch contextual tab, select Create > Project/Include > Isoparametric Curve.
2. Select a face to extract curves from.
3. Select a point on the face to define the curve location.
4. Choose the curve direction: U, V, or Both.
5. Choose the curve type: Single or Distributed.
6. Adjust distance or quantity settings as needed.
7. (Optional) Clear Projection Link to create independent curves that don't update with surface changes.
8. Click OK or press Enter.
