Verify MySQL or MariaDB ODBC Connection

Verify that you have ODBC network connectivity with the "ODBC Data Source Administrator (64-bit)" tool.

1. Open the ODBC Data Source Administrator, go to the System DSN tab and select Add to add a temporary system DSN.
2. Double-click on the MySQL driver you installed and enter the details.
   
3. Verify connectivity to your database by entering your credentials and selecting Test.
   Important: We strongly recommend that you create a ReadOnly account with access to only the databases that are needed.
4. Once you are connected, save the system DSN.
