BETA | OSI PI only: Install Database Drivers

The Info360 Insight Data Connector supports OSI PI databases, but drivers must be installed.

Modern PI servers use an RQTP-based DAS (Data Access Service) to provide an ODBC connection, while older systems may still be using an OLEDB-based DAS. Instructions are provided for both below.

For RQTP-based DAS (modern PI servers)

Install PI SQL Client drivers

1. Go to the PI System Access folder and open the PI SQL Client Install Kit.
2. Run the MSI to install the drivers and any dependencies.

For OLEDB-based DAS (older PI servers)

Install PI SQL ODBC driver

1. Go to the PI System Access folder and open the PI ODBC Driver Install Kit.
2. Run the MSI to install the drivers and any dependencies.
