Tag Sensors in an Image
To import an image file:
- Go to Data Images.
- Click New Image Import.
- Upload your image and select Import.
To tag an image:
- Once you've uploaded the image, click on the three dots icon beside it and select Tag Image.
- Select the kind of tag you want to add to the image:
- Draw a rectangle over the part of the image where you want to position the tag.
Tip: The rectangle you draw determines the center point of the tag; it does not define the exact shape. You can always resize or reposition these afterwards. See
Edit Image Tags.
- In the pop-up, fill out the details:
- Latest sensor value:
- Select a sensor or sensor group. Then click Next.
- If you want to, modify the sensor names, decimal places, or unit settings.
Tip: Keep the sensor names short so they don't take up as much space on the image.
- You can set high and low limits for the sensors to show their latest values in a certain color if they go outside these limits. To configure these, expand the sensor and then click on Show Source Adjustments. You can also change the colors.
- Tag with clickable icon:
- Select one or more data sources, sensor groups, workspaces, or facilities to associate to this tag.
- Give the tag a name or use the default that is generated.
- Select an icon from the drop-down to represent the tag.
- Text: Enter the text you want to add to the image.
- Click Create.
- Once you have finished tagging, click Save.
