The Preferences form allows you to modify a variety of global settings.
Allowable Undos - Sets the maximum number of Undo/Redo actions that are maintained. Setting a high value in this field will mean bigger amount of disk space will be used and longer processing time will be required.
Analysis Mode - Dictates how the results of the analysis are maintained.
User - The analysis must be performed manually by using the Go option.
Background - The analysis will be run automatically in the background when changes are made to ensure results are always available. Results forms are closed.
Maintain Results - The analysis will be run automatically in the background when changes are made to ensure the results are always available. Results forms are updated.
Messages and Prompts - Allows the messages and prompts to be returned to the default settings. This includes the 'Do Not Show This' again messages which may have been turned off inadvertently.
Autosave - Allows to autosave every T (mins) interval (See Autosave - Recovery).
Show Welcome Screen- Set this checkbox to enable or disable viewing the Welcome to InfoDrainage on program start.
Use Cloud Analysis – Perform 1D/2D analysis computations on a cloud service, rather than on premises. See InfoDrainage Cloud Simulation for more information.
Region - Attempts to set the Region for the current file. Note that if there are items in the current design that are not available under the specified region, the user will be warned as such and the region will default to Global.
Units - Allows the user to customize the units used throughout the software to suit their needs.
