CAM Reports - Extended Valve Assessment Reports

In the Based on GIS Layer Elements mode, the CAM module produces Extended Valve Assessment Reports. These reports have a different format from standard Valve Assessment Reports. Extended Valve Assessment Reports include Affected Area Reports, Performance Reports, and Detailed Element Reports.

All of the Extended valve Assessment Reports share the same common dialog box and user interface.

Toolbar

Some toolbar buttons may not be available for all reports. Toolbar items may be grayed are not available.

• Decimal Place - Use the buttons to increase or decrease the number of decimal places in the selected report column.

• Print - Click on this button to open the Print Grid dialog box. This dialog box can be used to print the currently displayed report.  Please refer to the base software help file for more information on the Print Grid dialog box and options.

• Sort Ascending - Click on this button to sort the table in ascending order of the currently selected column.

• Sort Descending - Click on this button to sort the table in descending order of the currently selected column.

• Search - Press this button to open the Search Assessing Element dialog box.

• Apply Map Display - Click on this button to apply the Map Display detailed under Highlight Colors. Refer to the base software help file for detailed information on Map Display.

• View Pipe on Map - Click on this button to make pipe highlighted on the map.

• Reset Map Display - Returns the map display to the original configuration.

• Save - Click on this button to save CAM reports as a .csv file. 

• Close - Click on this button to close or exit the CAM dialog box.

• Active Report - Shows current Report Selection.

Reports

Reports are selected along the left column of the dialog box and consist of the following reports:

• Affected Area Reports - Affected Area Reports show a table with a number of parameters that describe the model elements in Closed Area, Disconnected Area, or Combined Area for each assessment valve. The table for Disconnected Area is empty for a particular assessment valve if its corresponding simulation does not encounter network disconnection. 

• Performance Reports - Performance Reports provide a summary of run status, and junction/pipe performances according to specified assessment criteria; and include three tables: Run Summary, Junction Performance, and Pipe Performance. 

• Detailed Element Reports - Affected Elements of Detailed Element Reports show a table about nodes, pipes, or pumps/valves in Closed Area, Disconnected Area, or Combined Area for the current assessment valve. The current assessment valve is a particular valve highlighted in the Affected Area Reports. The user can search for a desired assessment valve through the dialog box of Search Assessing Element. Nodes include junctions, tanks, and reservoirs. The radios of Closed Elements, Disconnected Elements, and Combined Elements are by default synchronized to the buttons of Closed Area, Disconnected Area, and Combined Area, respectively. The user can later change the scope of Affected elements by clicking any radio. 

Highlight Colors

The group box of Highlight Colors specifies colors for nodes, pipes, and pumps/valves, which are used by the button of Color Map. Note that the button of Color Map is enabled only when the user clicks on Detailed Element Reports.

• Nodes - Displays the highlighted color for Nodes. Double-click on the highlighted color to open a standard color selection box to change the selected color.

• Pipes - Displays the highlighted color for Pipes. Double-click on the highlighted color to open a standard color selection box to change the selected color.

• Pumps/Valves - Displays the highlighted color for Pumps and Valves. Double-click on the highlighted color to open a standard color selection box to change the selected color.
