To edit your Fireflow table in InfoWater Pro:
- Open the table from either Run Manager Fireflow Tab using or by opening the
DB Editor → Extended Modeling Data → Fireflow Demand Table.
- Enter in the necessary information for the provided fields:
Notes:
- Innovyze recommends that you match the Residual and Design Pressure values used both in the Run Manager and if override values are used in the Fireflow table for a specific junction.
- To use a junction as a search node location that will not be evaluated for fireflow, Innovyze recommends the following: Create a Fireflow entry for the node in question and use a Fireflow of zero. If the Design Pressure for this location is less than the Global Min Design Pressure, set the lower Design Pressure in the Fireflow Demand table as desired and make sure the Fireflow field is set to zero. This will not evaluate fireflow for this location, but would still use this location in the Design Critical Node Search range but with the lower (or higher) Design Pressure as specified in the Fireflow table. This might include evaluation of pressures in locations where the pressure before the fire is already below 20 psi, but where you would like to ensure there is at least 0.5 psi (positive pressure) to perhaps 5 psi or 10 psi minimum pressure when the fire occurs. See example below for Junction 17 which will not get evaluated for Fireflow but will use a search range Design Pressure of 5 psi.
