LDA - Bulk Import

With the latest InfoWater Pro release, you can import bulk sensor data with InfoWater Pro's Live Data Adapter's (LDA) newest functionality.

To import bulk sensor data:

1. Go to your InfoWater Pro ribbon, and click on the LDA button to open your Live Data Adapter dialog box.
2. Click on the Batch Import button.

3. Select your import CSV file from the pop-up window.

   

4. Click Open.
5. You should be able to view your imported sensor data in the Live Data Adapter - Sensor Configuration dialog box.

   

6. Go to your desktop to open up the Excel file. You can view the contents of your CSV file from your desktop. See below for the content of the CSV file.

   

   Here is a table that describes each field in the CSV file:

   Field Name	Description
   Sensor	Sensor ID.
   SensorType	Sensor Type.
   ElementName	InfoWater Pro project network element ID.
   ElementType	InfoWater Pro project network element type: Junction, Tank, Pump, Valve, Reservoir, Pipe.
   Table	Historian table name.
   DateField	Date field in the historian table.
   TimeField	Time field in the historian table (option).
   Channel	Value field in the historian table.
   Unit	Unit of historian data.
   Tag Field	Tag field (ID field) in the historian table.
   Tag Value	Tag value (ID value) of the target sensor.
   Factor	Factor of data value.
   Offset	Offset of Data Value.
