A Structural Bridge Design Project can now contain the following structural models:

• a single Refined Analysis model
• one or more Line Beam models

These models can link to the same Design Sections or Design Beams.

A simple way to obtain Temperature and Shrinkage analysis, and Construction on Centering effects for a Design Beam is to automatically create Line Beam model(s) from the Refined Model. From the Member Details form, select a beam element of the desired line of beams in the first span, and click the Create Line Beam action item. For an FE Web or Tub Girder, select a beam element representing the top flange.

The line beam will be defined using the geometry and structure properties of the active Refined Model. See example
