Tip: You can also add and remove Inbetweens using the marking menu (Shift +
S - click).
To add an Inbetween
- Select the animation attribute or channel.
- Do one of the following:
- Right-click in the Time Slider and select
from the menu that appears to insert an Inbetween at the current time.
- In the
Graph Editor, select
to insert an Inbetween at the current time.
Note: There are runtime commands that you can use to create a keyboard shortcut for creating Inbetweens. For the
Graph Editor, the commands are
Graph Editor Add Inbetween and
Graph Editor Remove Inbetween and for the
Dope Sheet they are
Dope Sheet Add Inbetween and
Dope Sheet Remove Inbetween. See

To remove an Inbetween
- Select the animation attribute or channel.
- Do one of the following:
- Right-click in the Time Slider and select
from the menu that appears to delete the Inbetween at the current time.
- In the
Graph Editor, select
to delete the Inbetween at the current time.
When using
Remove Inbetween, the space between keys is decreased. This may cause keys to conflict and act unpredictably.
