Create a mockup

Use the Mockup 360 Dashboard or Add to Mockup command in Autodesk Inventor to create new mockups.

From the Dashboard

1. Open Mockup 360 Dashboard.
2. Click +New.
3. In the Create a New Mockup dialog box, enter the mockup name, and click Create.

   The new mockup file is added to the Dashboard list and to your Autodesk 360 repository.

   Note: Click the new mockup to edit it.

From Autodesk Inventor

1. Open a model in Autodesk Inventor.
2. On the Autodesk Inventor ribbon, click Autodesk 360 tab Mockup 360 panel Add to Mockup.
   Tip: Download and install Mockup 360 add-in for Autodesk Inventor to add Mockup 360 panel to the ribbon of Autodesk Inventor 2014 or 2015. The add-in is available on the Mockup 360 Dashboard.
3. Log in using your Autodesk 360 credentials.
4. In the Autodesk Mockup 360 dialog box:
   • Click Create New Mockup, and enter the mockup name.
   • To open the new mockup in Mockup 360, select Launch Autodesk Mockup 360 to See Mockup.
5. In the Autodesk Mockup 360 dialog box, click OK. Then click OK again to close the message box.
