Measure distances in a mockup

Add linear dimensions to measure distances and sizes.

1. On the main toolbar, click Measure.
2. In the graphic window, click component geometry to specify two reference faces, edges, or points.

   To narrow your selection, open Selection Filters, and specify geometry to select.

   The dimension is placed automatically when two reference objects are selected.

3. To display orthogonal x, y, and z distances, click the dimension value.
   Note: All dimensions are removed when you exit or restart the Measure command.

Tips:

• To set units of measurement, click Options, and on the Advanced tab of the Options dialog box. change the unit settings.
• To change size of dimension text, click Options, and on the General tab of the Options dialog box, change the Measurement Size value.
