Workflow: Collaboration Through Mockups

You and your collaborators can simultaneously access the mockup model and solve issues in real time. For example, you can use annotations to discuss problems, shared views to view areas of concern, or clash check to find component interferences.

  1. Open a mockup
    Use Autodesk 360, the Mockup 360 Dashboard, or sharing invitation email to open a mockup.
  2. Work with Navigation Tools
    Use Mockup 360 navigation tools to change views of the mockup model.
  3. Insert components in a mockup
    Insert models created in various 3D CAD applications and stored in various formats and locations.
  4. Find component clashes in a mockup
    Use Clash Check to detect component interferences.
  5. Reposition components in a mockup
    Use the Reposition command to move components to desired positions.
  6. Work with annotations in a mockup
    Attach annotations to mockup components to communicate issues.
  7. Save shared mockup views
    Shared mockup views can include component visibility settings, section views, and markup.
  8. Measure distances in a mockup
    Add linear dimensions to measure distances and sizes.
