The
Isolate toggle lets you temporarily focus on a selection of faces or a specific object, and quickly limit what displays in the scene.
- (Optional) Select the objects or faces you want to isolate. (You can select and isolate faces on separate objects at once.)
Tip: Use the hotkey V to select faces.
If there is nothing selected in the scene, isolate works on the active object.
- Right-click and turn on the
Isolate toggle in the marking menu, or select
Display > Isolate from the main menu bar.
All other objects in the scene are temporarily hidden until you turn off the Isolate toggle.
Note: The
Isolate command works independently of other show/hide options in the
Display menu, so that any previously hidden objects or faces remain hidden as you toggle in and out of
Isolate display.
