You'll want to view and sculpt your model from varying viewpoints in the Mudbox 3D View. Navigating the camera within the 3D View is the first skill to master.
Using the following hotkeys, tumble, track, and dolly the camera in relation to the sphere.

Place your cursor over the model and press the F key. The location beneath the cursor becomes the camera's center of interest. |
