In the Release dialog, on the Elastic tab, specify the properties of an elastic release.
| Properties | Description |

| Label | Name of a release. |
| Elastic coeff. | Select this option to specify elastic coefficients for the released directions. The elastic coefficient can assume any positive value. |
| Partial stiffness coeff. | Select this option to specify stiffness reduction coefficients. The values of these coefficients range between: 0.0 (a released direction) and 1.0 (no release). The value of the element stiffness is multiplied by the value of the coefficient at the appropriate end. |
| Beginning End | Select these options to assign an elastic release at one or both ends of an element. You specify values of coefficients for each end individually. |

Ux, Uy, Uz Rx, Ry, and Rz |
Select release directions. You can select displacement directions (Ux, Uy, and Uz) and rotation directions (Rx, Ry, and Rz). |

Kx, Ky, Kz Hx, Hy, and Hz |
Available when you select the Elastic coeff. option. They indicate elastic coefficients for individual displacement directions (Kx, Ky, and Kz) and rotation directions (Hx, Hy, and Hz). |
