The Licensing Installer has been updated to version 15.7.1.13908 with the following improvements:

  • Enabled scrolling for in-product marketing content when needed.
  • Resolved an issue (introduced in the 15.7.0.13899 update) that prevented network licensing customers from viewing the license server name in the License Manager dialog.

  • Starting with this release, users on the Linux Platform can no longer activate a serial number with standalone licensing. Windows and macOS users will remain unaffected.

  • Network Licensing customers can now benefit from a secure and streamlined experience with refreshed interfaces and improved borrow/return workflows.
  • Addressed issues that blocked product launches and caused some licensing dialogs to malfunction.

Important Notes:
  • 'Autodesk Licensing Service' updates are cumulative updates, and newer releases contain all changes from the updates previously released.
  • As a best practice, for improved reliability, security, and performance, it is always recommended to apply the latest available Autodesk Licensing Service update before launching Autodesk products.
  • If facing an Autodesk Product installation failure due to licensing, we recommend installing the latest licensing update before installing the product. Autodesk Licensing Service Update is a full installer and does not require the base version to be installed in advance.
  • While creating a deployment image, the Licensing Service Installer within the Autodesk Product installation files can be replaced with the latest update prior to creating the deployment package/image.
  • Customers on maintenance plan with single-user access who have not activated their 2020 version software serial number, after installing this update, will be required to be online for serial number activation.
