Can I cancel before the end of my subscription?

Issue:

You want to know if you can cancel your Autodesk subscription before the end of the active term.

Solution:

Cancelation for a refund

  • To receive a full refund for a monthly subscription, you must return it within 15 days of the initial purchase or renewal date.
  • For a refund of annual or 3-year subscriptions, you must initiate the return within 30 days of the initial purchase or renewal date.
    Note: If your Autodesk subscription has a 3-year term or an annual term longer than 12 months, you agree to multiple billings during your subscription period. These billings are not renewal payments but part of your initial payment terms.

  • For a refund on Flex prepay token orders, you must initiate the return within 30 days of the purchase date.

Connect with an agent or create a case using Autodesk Assistant to request a refund.

 

Stop auto-renewal

Once the return period has passed, you can turn off auto-renewal to cancel your subscription at the expiration date.

To turn off auto-renewal for your Autodesk subscription, go to the Subscriptions and contracts page in your Autodesk account and select your subscription. Find the renewal details at the bottom and select turn off next to Auto-renew.

Your subscription will stay active until its expiration date, and you will not be charged at renewal. You can keep using your Autodesk software until the subscription expires.

We will send you an email to confirm that you have turned off auto-renew, and it will include your subscription’s expiration date.
