Issue:
You want to know if you can stop your Autodesk subscription immediately and avoid future charges.
Solution:
Once it's outside the return window, you cannot end an Autodesk subscription before the end of its current term.
Instead, you have two options to stop future renewals:
- Turn off auto-renew.
- Cancel your subscription at renewal.
In both cases:
- Your subscription remains active until the expiration date.
- You continue to have access to your products and services until that date.
After the expiration date, your subscription moves through a shutoff process: Expired → Suspended → Canceled.
There are no scenarios where a subscription is canceled immediately after selecting cancel.
Important
- Canceling your subscription does not stop the current billing period.
- Any remaining payments (such as annual payment plans) are still due.
- Refunds are handled separately and depend on eligibility.
