Fixed Issues

Problems Reported Through the Customer Error Reporting Utility

As a result of the detailed information that we received from customers who used the Customer Error Reporting Utility, we were able to identify and fix several defects including the following:

P&ID
The application no longer crashes when using the SYNCHSTYLES command or saving changes in Project Setup for specific P&ID drawings.
Piping
AutoCAD Plant 3D no longer crashes when the number of ports is empty in Custom Parts Builder.

General Update Content

The following defects have been fixed:

Collaboration Workflow
Duplicated ortho relationships in the database do not occur in multi-user scenarios within collaboration projects.
Isometrics
Iso creation now succeeds when adding a pipe support to pipelines with small tolerance.
The Iso message box expands properly to accommodate the enclosed text in Iso annotations.
Offset annotations for eccentric reducers are now accurate in Iso drawings.
Unhandled exceptions no longer occur during Iso creation.
Orthographics
Centerlines are not offset after running the EXPORTLAYOUT command on ortho drawings.
Specific flanges correctly display in ortho drawings for certain 3D models. These flanges also correctly display in output drawings after using the EXPORTTOAUTOCAD command.
Valve geometry is now fully visible in ortho views for specific projects.
P&ID
P&ID linetypes now remain consistent and do not change to continuous.
A new sysvar, PLANTUSECURRENTSTYLEPROPS, is introduced to control whether to apply the "Use Current" properties to existing entities or only to new entities after using the REGEN or SYNCHSTYLES commands.
Revision clouds now display correctly in P&ID drawings after importing Excel files in Data Manager.
Piping
Bolt sets position correctly when flange wafer-type valves are placed without gaskets.
Project Management
Orphaned OPC data are now removed from Data Manager.
Exported Excel files from Data Manager now have protected cells, consistent with the AutoCAD Plant 3D 2023 release.
The LAYER command no longer causes an unhandled exception after modifying the style settings in Project Setup.
Spec Editor
Blank spaces within the display name of custom properties do not disappear after reopening the catalog.
Specific specs correctly display in both Spec Editor and Spec Viewer.
