To Change the Visibility of Layers

Turn Layers On or Off

1. Click Home tab Layers panel Layer Properties. Find
2. Select the layers you want to turn on or off.
3. Click the icon in the On column to set the status of the selected layers.

   = on

   = off

Freeze or Thaw Layers

When working with drawings with lots of layers, freezing unneeded layers can speed up display and regeneration. For example, objects on a frozen layer are not considered during a ZOOM EXTENTS.

1. Click Home tab Layers panel Layer Properties. Find
2. Select the layers you want to freeze or thaw.
3. Click the icon in the Freeze column to set the status of the selected layers.

   = frozen

   = thawed

Display Selected Layers While Turning Off All Other Layers

1. Click Home tabLayers panelIsolate. Find
2. Select objects on each layer that you want to isolate, and press Enter. All other layers are turned off.
Note: To reverse this operation, use Unisolate. Find
