AutoCAD 2026.1.2 Update
August 6, 2026
Important: Due to potential compatibility issues introduced by .NET 10 in AutoCAD 2026.1.2, the corresponding updates for the specialized toolsets must also be installed. If other AutoCAD 2026-based products are installed on the workstation, such as Autodesk Civil 3D, the AutoCAD Mechanical toolset, or Autodesk Advance Steel, you must install the latest available updates for those products to maintain cross-product compatibility. In addition to updating installed products, you might need to update object enablers installed for AutoCAD 2026 when working with drawings created in the following products:
- AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Autodesk Advance Steel
- Autodesk Civil 3D
- Autodesk Fabrication CADmep
Download updated object enablers from the
Autodesk Account portal under Products and services > Available downloads > Plug-ins. If you use a third-party application that relies on an object enabler, contact the application vendor for an updated version.
| .NET 10 |
| Change from .NET 8.0 and 10.0: Microsoft will stop providing updates for .NET 8.0 after November 10, 2026. For this reason, Autodesk and other software developers are encouraged to transition to .NET 10.0. Custom applications targeting .NET 8.0 should continue to function, except in cases where changes or removals in .NET 10.0 introduce compatibility issues. |
