Have You Tried: Looking Back at 2019

In the past year, the AutoCAD CXD (Content Experience Design) Team has created some great content including the monthly Have You Tried articles. Our goal is to increase your everyday productivity and AutoCAD knowledge with the Have You Tried series.

Let's take a look back at some of the more popular Have You Tried articles from 2019.

    Faster Zooming and Panning

Because you frequently zoom and pan when working on drawings, it's important to be as efficient as possible with these operations.

    The Status Bar

The status bar provides quick access to some of the most commonly used drawing aids and tools.

    Work with AutoCAD Anywhere

Want to pull up a drawing during a design review meeting or while on a job site, but don't have your work computer? The AutoCAD web app lets you work in AutoCAD anytime, anywhere.

Using the UCS for 2D Drafting

The UCS establishes the origin and orientation of a movable Cartesian coordinate system. By moving and changing the orientation of the UCS, you can relocate 0,0 of your drawing.

    Multileaders for Labels and Callouts

Some of the most common annotations in a drawing are labels and callouts. These convey various types of information and identifications depending on their content and symbols.
