These release notes contain important information regarding the changes and improvements of the Update.

What's New in AutoCAD for Mac 2026

Applying Updates

To download updates, choose one of the following methods:

(Recommended) Launch AutoCAD and click AutoCAD 2026 > Check for Updates. A notification banner displays the latest update that is applicable with the current version. If the current version is the latest version, the banner shows "Your product is up-to-date."
Log in to the Autodesk Account portal to find the update download.

Note: If nothing happens after you click Check for Updates, check the notification setting in your macOS preferences and make sure notifications are enabled for AutoCAD for Mac. If the notifications are already enabled, click the top-right corner of the screen to open the notification center. You should see the notification at the top of the notification center.

2026.0.1 Update

Installing this Update

Quit all Autodesk products.
Double-click the downloaded DMG installer to mount the disk.
In the mounted disk, double-click the PKG file to start the installation.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

After applying the latest update, the product version in the About AutoCAD box updates to as W.60.M.226 AutoCAD 2026.0.1.

Silent install with scripts is supported for this update. To install an Update with scripts, in the terminal, run the following:

sudo installer -pkg <update pkg path> -target /

Uninstalling Updates

You can only uninstall the entire AutoCAD application and cannot uninstall just the updates on a Mac.

To uninstall the entire AutoCAD application

Open a Finder window.
Navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2026.
Double-click Remove AutoCAD 2026 app.
