    Summary

We modeled a composite plate with a hole using Helius PFA to generate matrix and fiber failure indices for each integration point.

Two different procedures specific to Helius PFA were used:

    1. The Helius PFA GUI was used to generate a user material.
    2. State variable (SVAR) output to the results file (.rst) was requested.

ANSYS was used to plot fiber and matrix failure indices in individual plies after the solution was completed.
